New Days

Lord, give new days ... sunny and bright;
Make the clouds just small and white;
Lord, give work for mind and hands;
Work that satisfies, commands.

Lord, bring children to my home;
Bring their wonder...  soil of loam;
Give me heart now quick to praise;
Lord, give hope for happy days.

Lord, give health of body, soul ;
Wellness that within makes whole;
Simply put, a wealth that gives;
Wealth of spirit, soul that lives.

Lord, a sign of favor, please;
Lord, a gentle rain, a soft breeze;
Lord, a smile in someone’s eyes;
Or the thought of your Son-rise.
