I see in you the face of Christ;
I see His hairline, His your smile.
.
I see His eyes shine steady, clear;
They understand both hearts and flow’rs.
I see His arms, taut-muscled from work
At a carpenter-job, never shirked.
I see His back, both broad and strong,
Which carried the tree He was hung on.
