A Very Brief History of Time

Completeness  imagined a void,
Decided to generate something tangible to fill it,
Blasted from point-of-light spiritual Infinity
Into Big Bang  cosmic reality at the speed of light squared,
Fell into a dozen or so elemental particles after a few hundred thousand years,
Slowed down into molecular hydrogen according to the laws of physics,
Condensed further into unfathomnable quasars of primeival energy,
Over billions of years building myriad galaxies of untold trillions of stars...

Thus,  there was formed a universe which could produce
One spinning eliptical galaxy with sprawling outer arms
Containing one average star, with one ring of satellites
Including one iron-cored, watery blue sphere of oceans
Under oxygenated, electrified, stormy skies
Sustaining a few billion years of experimentation by Design...

Until one string of molecules ignited
Into one cell which replicated itself,
Evolved from intricate blueprint that looks like randomness
Into plethora of flora and fauna
Over a few hundred million years until...
Breathed into one unsuspecting, upright, toolmaking, affection-seeking rib
Was at last the unlimited image of
Life  which calls itself...

Humanity:  defined by its ability to love, to make choices
Based on a philosophy rather than on physical instincts,
Consciously in need of redemption for recognized failings,
Acting on a universal dream for unending life by inventing religion to feed
The human hope for fairness, for fulfillment, for completeness...

Is Completeness calling us back to Creator for completion.
