Cornstalks praise You
standing tall, reaching taller,
bristling green, tassels waving,
each kernel bound by silken threads
like Your sweet yoke.
Soybeans praise, too,
sun-dappled layered leaves
waffling, hiding pods of peas,
tiny globes set in threes,
evoking the Holy Trinity.
