Life without faith
Cannot buoy,
Seems abstruse,
Gives no joy.
Faith without works
Sleeps all day,
Cold as stone,
House of clay.
Works without love
Don’t inspire,
Have no warmth,
Light no fires.
Love without hope
Can’t endure,
Loses strength,
Sadness stirs.
Hope without peace -
False indeed!
Of charity,
Still in need.
